15 years ago, together with Rinat Friedman, Zamir Dahbash founded Shalom Tel Aviv, today one of Israel’s largest media firms with offices in New York and Tel Aviv.

Previously, Zamir headed the business news desk at the daily Haaretz (published in Hebrew and English). He then moved on to become a partner and CEO at the communications group Euro Tel Aviv (formerly Zarfati-Sternschuss-Zamir), part of Euro RSCG worldwide.

His extensive experience in working with government and organizations includes serving as a top media adviser to former Bank of Israel Governor and Vice Chairman of the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank, Prof. Stanley Fischer, and to former Israel Securities Authority Chairman, Prof. Zohar Goshen.

Zamir has served as a senior advisor to numerous of prominent tech companies, including Meta-Facebook, Microsoft, Wiz, Armis, Insight Partners, Cyberstarts, NoName, Axis Security, Lightricks, Team8, BlackRock, The Phoenix, digital bank ONE ZERO and many more. He has a specific expertise in supporting high-tech companies and venture capital funds in funding rounds, issuances, mergers and acquisitions, brand development, employer branding, and in guiding venture capital funds to generate high-quality deal flow.

Rinat Friedman is Managing Partner at Shalom Tel Aviv since it was founded 15 years ago. She previously worked at Euro Tel Aviv for nine years, four of them as the firm’s Director of Public Relations. Prior to that, she served as editor of the economic section of Kol Hanegev, a regional newspaper published by Yediot Ahronoth.

Rinat is a highly experienced media consultant and crisis management expert, over the years consulting a diverse portfolio of clients spanning various industries such as technology, healthcare, retail, finance, telecom and utilities.

VP Clients

Omer Refael serves as VP Clients at Shalom Tel Aviv. Since joining the company in 2011, Omer has expanded his fields of expertise to include healthcare, finance, high tech, cyber, retailing and more.

After graduating from the Israel Defense Forces’ Academic Reserve (Atuda) program, he headed the IDF Logistics Corps’ media and press relations.
He holds a BA in Economics and Logistics from Bar-Ilan University (Ramat Gan, Israel) and an MBA from the College of Management Academic Studies (Rishon Lezion, Israel), specializing in marketing and advertising.

Tamar Harel is the Head of U.S. Office at Shalom Tel Aviv. Since joining the firm in 2020, Tamar has led work with the company’s top-tier high-tech clients in the U.S. and Israel, including Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Insight Partners, Cyberstarts, Optibus, Wiz and Dazz. With extensive expertise in supporting high-tech companies and venture capital firms, Tamar specializes in fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, crisis management, product marketing, speaking opportunities and brand building.

Prior to her current role, Tamar worked as a content and marketing specialist at an Israeli startup. She also served at the international media branch of the Israel Defense Forces’ spokesperson's unit, where she was responsible for media relations with North American news outlets and worked at the IDF’s international newsroom.

Head of Strategy and Planning

Mor Ben-Kalifa is the Head of Strategy and Planning at Shalom Tel Aviv. Since joining the firm in 2020, Mor has led key financial, tech and business accounts, including renowned organizations such as BlackRock and McKinsey. Prior to her role at Shalom Tel Aviv, Mor served as Program Manager and Research Assistant at the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) in Tel Aviv.

Previously, she worked for the Manhattan Borough President's Office and the Global Partnerships Forum, a New York-based NGO. Additionally, Mor served as a Communications Consultant at the Israel Defense Forces’ spokesperson’s unit, where she was responsible for managing press relations in one of the regions in Israel, working with prominent North American and Israeli media outlets.
