The digital insurance company celebrates: Honeycomb raised 36 million dollars

Today, Insuretech company Honeycomb  announced it has raised $36 million in a series B funding round. The round was led by Zeev Ventures, with the participation of Arkin Holdings and Launchbay Capital.

The company, which only began writing U.S. politicies in June 2021, now operates in 16 of the largest states in the U.S., covering approvimately 60% of the U.S. market. Honeycomb’s AI-driven technology enables granualr risk management, and it sells its policies directly via its platforms. Honeycomb insurers more than 21$ billion worth of real estate assets and expects to triple that number in the upcoming year.

Honeycomb will use its new funding to double its headcount from 90 to 180 employees over the next 18 months, introduce new products, and exapnd its offerings to new markets.
