Transmit Security completed its first funding round at an unprecedented scale – $543M, the largest series A funding round in cybersecurity history. Led by Insight Partners and General Atlantic, Transmit Security’s pre-money valuation jumps to $2.2 billion. Transmit Security was founded by Mickey Boodaei and Rakesh Loonkar to rid the world of passwords, and offers biometric user authentication without passwords and registration. Operating as a bootstrapped company up until now, Transmit’s annual revenue climbed up to $100M.
